Benefits

At the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, we believe in win-win relationships. When you choose a career with us, you're making a commitment to our patients and your fellow team members, to provide service with a sense of integrity. We are a performance-based organization, rewarding those who wish to excel with greater earnings, increased responsibilities, and personal and professional growth opportunities. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, allowing team members to choose the benefit coverage options best suited for their specific needs.

The Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center offers an extensive line of choices for employee benefits, allowing team members to customize a benefit plan that best fits their lifestyle. Benefits are available to all team members that work 20 hours a week or more.

Personal Time Off - At the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, we'll help you balance your career with your personal time. Our competitive benefits program offers paid time off, extended sick leave, holidays, military leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave.

Medical - We offer a variety of medical insurance plans. Team members can also purchase health coverage for domestic partners, spouse, and/or dependents. We'll pay a substantial portion of the premiums, for all levels of coverage.

Dental - Team members can purchase optional dental coverage for themselves, domestic partners, spouse and/or dependents.

Vision - Team members can purchase an optional vision plan for themselves, domestic partners, spouse and/or dependents.

Health Savings Account (HSA) - All eligible team members participating in a High Deductible Health Plan have the ability to enroll in a tax-advantage medical savings account. Unlike a flexible spending account (FSA), contributions roll over and accumulate year to year, if not spent. Health Savings Accounts are owned by the team member and contributions may be used to pay for qualified medical expenses at any time.

Flexible Spending (FSA)/Section 125 "Cafeteria Plan" - All eligible team members have the option to participate in this plan. The plan provides a method for the team member to fund payment of selected benefits with pre-tax dollars. These benefits can include team member paid medical and dental premiums, dependent care assistance and a medical reimbursement plan.

Group Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment - The Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center provides a group life insurance plan to all eligible team members, covering two times their annual salary, up to $150,000. In addition, voluntary life insurance is available for domestic partners, spouse and children at an additional cost to the team member.

Optional Voluntary Life Insurance - All eligible team members have the ability to obtain additional term life insurance coverage for themselves and for their spouse and/or domestic partner, and children, at their own cost. This coverage is portable, even if you should leave the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center.

403b Retirement Plan - We offer a 403b plan which allows all team members (21 years of age or older) to defer a portion of their income to their own personal retirement account on a pre-tax basis. The Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center will match your contribution by 100%--up to 5% of your income--for all contributions made by eligible team members. With over 20 investment funds to choose from, ranging from conservative to aggressive growth, you can customize your 403b to grow your nest egg.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - The Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center provides professional and referral services as a benefit to all team members and their immediate families. EAPs are intended to help team members and/or their immediate family members, deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health or well-being. EAPs generally include assessment, short-term counseling and referral services for team members and their immediate family members.
