Cindy Ruttan, D.O.

Cindy Ruttan, D.O., received her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an undergraduate at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Ruttan completed a rotating Internship at Lakeside Hospital/ Parklane Hospital, Children's Mercy Hospital and consortium hospital affiliates. She was an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Missouri Kansas City's School of Medicine, Truman Medical Centers and St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, until she transferred her residency specialty to Psychiatry at the Western Missouri Mental Health Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Ruttan then completed a Child Adolescent Fellowship at Washington University's School of Medicine Barnes Hospital/ St. Louis Children's Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Ruttan has worked at the Hawthorn State Children's Psychiatric Hospital in St. Louis, and the Crittenton Center in Kansas City, Missouri, providing in-patient residential adolescent psychiatry and out-patient adult and child-adolescent psychiatry services. She has special interest in adolescent substance abuse, ADHD/bipolar disorder and sleep disorders in adults and child-adolescents.

Dr. Ruttan is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, College of Osteopathic Neurology and Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association (she is a past President of the West District Branch), American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (she is a past-President of the West District Branch) and the West District Osteopathic Society, Greater Kansas City area.

Carl A. Inzerillo, D.O.

Carl A. Inzerillo, D.O.

Dr. Carl Inzerillo joined the staff of the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center in 2009 and has been in Family Practice Medicine for over 30 years in Kansas and Missouri. He graduated from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Interned at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. Inzerillo is Board Certified in Family Practice and was a Fellow in the Academy of Disability Examining Physicians. He is certified in acupuncture by the American Society of Acupuncture. He has also taught medical students from the University of Health Sciences and the University of Kansas, for many years.

Dr. Inzerillo is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Missouri Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice, the American Academy of Disability Examining Physicians, and the American Medical Athletic Association. He has volunteered for many years at the Free Health Clinics in Leavenworth and Topeka, Kansas, and at LINK (providing free meals for those in need), in Lawrence, KS.

Dr. Inzerillo's hobbies include marathon running, bicycling, weight training, reading and traveling.

Colette A. Fleming, M.D.

Colette A. Fleming, M.D.

Colette Fleming received her M.D. from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas, which was followed by a Pediatric Residency at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals, in Omaha, Nebraska.

After leaving a long-time private practice in Joplin, Missouri, Dr. Fleming spent several years as a Locums Pediatrician including several assignments at Army Posts around the country, before joining SURHC.

When asked about a quote that sums up her approach to pediatric medicine, Dr. Fleming said, "With gratitude for the journey in Medicine, past and present, the future beckons!"

Dalal Sangetta Jignesh, M.D.

Pediatric Physician

Dalal Sangetta Jignesh, M.D., received her graduate and undergraduate medical degrees from Baroda Medical College in Gujarat, India. She was a first year Fellow in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health, and Johns Hopkins University program. Dr. Dalal was a Resident in Pediatrics at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was also an assistant professor.

Dr. Dalal worked in a variety of medical settings both within the U.S. and abroad, before coming to the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center. Those included Kaplan Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland and Asha Children's Hospital. She was a staff pediatrician at Children's Hospital in Ahmedabad, India. In addition, Dr. Dalal worked as a physician in the Department of Pediatrics at Bapunagar General Hospital, a tertiary care center in Ahmedabad, India.

Khursheed Zia, M.D.

Board Certified in General Adult Psychiatry

Khursheed Zia, M.D., graduated from the Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. After completing his training in medicine, he practiced Internal Medicine for 13 years. Dr. Zia completed his Psychiatry Residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Zia is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and also works as a staff psychiatrist at Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Missouri. Before joining the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Dr. Zia practiced at several community clinics. He was the Medical Director of the Bootheel Counseling Service in Sikeston, Missouri, and at a community clinic in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He currently also provides in-patient, out-patient and consultation-Liaison psychiatry services. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

Sudha T. Chaudhuri, M.D.

Sudha T. Chaudhuri, M.D.

Sudha Chaudhuri received her Medical Doctorate at Calcutta Medical College in Calcutta, India.  She did her post-doctoral training in the U.S. at St. Francis Hospital in The Bronx, New York, Menorah Medical Center and Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Previously, Dr. Chaudhuri held leadership positions at Planned Parenthood of Kansas City, Missouri, and she was also employed by Kaiser Permanente in Kansas City, Missouri.  She has a private practice in addition to her work at the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center.

She is a member of the Metropolitan Medical Society of Kansas; the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology; and the Kansas City Gynecological Society.

Michael Wells, D.O.

Board Certified, ATLS, ACLS, PALS

Dr. Wells graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate work at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, and at the University of California, Irvine, in Irvine, California.

Dr. Wells has a wide range of experience in emergency and family practice medicine in a variety of settings, including hospitals, and various public and private practice clinics, in Missouri. He has also served as Director of the Emergency Department at Samaritan Hospital in Macon, Missouri.

Dr. Wells is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Missouri Osteopathic Association, and the Missouri Association of General Practitioners.
